The Stone Eye – Kevlar, Kryptonite, Gloria (Album Review)

The Pennsylvania based fuzz rock trio “The Stone Eye” has once again blessed us with a killer record. This time around they give us “Kevlar, Kryptonite, Gloria” which is a really cool and original title for the record, so let’s jump Into this bad boy.

The first song that really stuck out to me was “Eyes of Eden.” I feel like they do a really good job at making strange riffs and cool chord progressions.

Throughout this album when I listen to this it really teleports me to the winter for some reason, it really has a cool grunge sound but also incorporating fuzz and stoner elements. It’s really fantastic!

It’s very solid, rhythmic, and it leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time listening to the album. So please go check out this band and go pick up this fantastic new album!

Today I’m giving this album a 7.5/10 here on Mammoth Tongue Reviews.
