Wizard Union – Ceremonial Smoke (EP Review)

If you want a fun, wholesome and chill sludge metal album then you’ve come to the right place! The Wizards Union is from the great land of Michigan and they released a album late last year called “Ceremonial Smoke,” yes I know it was released last year but who’s running this blog, they are just three dudes, Samir, Aaron and Larry. They even have a scene of bands called “The Wizards Union Collective”…how cool! Now let’s get into this filthy album.

Now for starters one thing I have to point out is the guitar tone, it’s so thick and heavy, it’s absolutely great. Right from the start of the EP is just pure heaviness. Something I noticed which was kinda cool is the vocalist is doing death metal growls over the music which is a cool change.

Overall this album is very thick, slimy, filthy, and it immediately makes you wanna live in the sewer and become a lifeless scum bag.

Check out this killer band and go buy some of their merch!

Today I’m giving this album a 6/10 here on Mammoth Tongue Reviews.
